CloudGenie processes personal data lawfully, fairly, and transparently under UK GDPR. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how you exercise your rights.

What we collect
Account data (name, email, company). Product telemetry (which features you use, error events). Payment metadata (never card numbers — Stripe handles those). Cloud metadata your team explicitly connects (resource IDs, tags, costs).
Why we collect it
To provide the product, bill you, prevent abuse, and improve the platform. We never sell or share your data with advertisers.
How long we keep it
Active-account data: as long as your account is active. Deleted-account data: 90 days then purged. Audit and billing records: 7 years to meet UK statutory requirements.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection — email us and we'll respond within 30 days.
